Hello all,

Today is your lucky day, or maybe I should say my lucky day. I am polling for advice. I have a 1995 2500 4X4 that is relatively stock. I am currently having a stage 5 ATS transmission installed and am now in the market for horsepower. My goal is 400 rwhp streetable truck that occasionally pulls a trailer up to 8000lbs or so. This is a daily driver with about 250,000 miles and it runs like a top. Questions below:

Would it be cheaper going with a rebuilt/tuned injection pump or should I keep my original and install plate, DV valves, 3000gsk spring... etc?

If I go with a rebuilt/tuned pump are the 215 and 160 pumps interchangeable?

Are upgraded injectors necessary if I go with a tuned pump? If so which are recommended?

I have not done a fire-ring job or replaced the head studs yet and would prefer to wait a short while before doing so. Is this horsepower feasable with out having this done yet?

What are the pros/cons for twins versus a larger or more efficient single turbo for my applications?

I have had this truck since new and absolutely love it. I have been dreaming about all the mods I would like to do to it, but now that the time is here I am not sure where to begin.

A little about myself. I am currently employed in Iraq with a company that provides aircraft maintenance for the military. I will be returning for a month in early June (around the 6th) and would like to get this stuff done prior to my arrival. I am a skilled mechanic and am somewhat familiar with the Cummins 5. 9 B's. I have a company doing the install of the ATS transmission as we speak and will most likely have them do the most of the injection pump/ fuel injector installs at the same time.

I know there are many different approaches out there for getting the horsepower I want and the dependability I need. I am interested in all your views. thanks for all you help.

and lets hear it!!!
