Time to buy a new rig?

Teach her to drive a standard. My wife can handle my 6 speed NV5600 with the greatest of ease. When towing the 5er or the (then) Lance camper, she drives about half the time.

The G-56's are even easier to drive than the 5600's. We went to the mts. for a test run and lo and behold,she pulled it off! Nary a gear grind. This is from a woman that should have destroyed my '85 Toyota's transmission. Fourth to reverse just wasn't working at 65 mph! My brother in law was behind us in Baja and commented that my backup lights were coming on at highway speeds. :{ The new auto seems to be working out for everybody. I'd trust that Aisen more though.

haven't you had to much good luck with that old dodge . the 6. 7's aren't anything great I hear . try another brand like a Chebby and give someone a shot at that old 5. 9 of yours. dodge and cummins aren't hitting on much with the 6. 7 . kind a like ford had with the 6. 0 , 6. 4 and chebby lemmmmms

I have been reviewing this posting and am a little tired of reading all of the negativity on the 6. 7L. I am a very happy owner of a 6. 7L truck. I read the posts under the 6. 7L forum and know of the problems people are seeing, but there are many of us very happy with our trucks. I use my truck as a daily driver and have never towed a trailier of any size.



My suggestion, read through the 6. 7L forum and find the tricks people are using to be successful with their trucks. It is possible to have a good running truck. You will never get a gas truck with anything close to our MPG with the same size and power.

I could have saved 600. 00 at Dave Smiths with Les.

Unfortunately my 3 month old son had other plans.

He's going through a growth spurt and my wife needs me around the house.

The total rebate is 8,500. 00

If yu need a truck NOW is the time to BUY!!!!

If you can't go to Idaho I have a guy here in So Cal that will do it for 300. 00 below Dealer Invoice... .

On that note a guy here around the block(we've got a lot of new/newer Dodges in this neighborhood) bought a used '07. 5 3500 6. 7 a few months ago. He has yet to have a light come on or had any need to return it to the dealer. He does,however,hop right on the freeway every morning for a forty mile one way commute which seems to keep these newer ones running clean.

Driver fatigue just went out the window with the new truck Bob. The rear DVD should keep the new rug rat content on long trips too!
