Time to change oil

I need some opinions on which oil to use so many choices this truck has to last a long time

I use the Chevron Delo-400 15w/40 with the Fleetguard Stratspore oil filters # 16035. Mainly because it comes in a pretty blue container. :-laf . Really I like it, it's good oil and Welcome to the TDR.

Unlike many who post here I am not a tinkerer. I bought a book of coupons for Chrysler for oil/filter/lube. Cost was $250 for a book of 12 which comes out to about $21/oil change. I can't buy the materials for that price, and this way I get to read a book instead of crawling under my dirty truck on my gravel driveway.



Anyway, I drive ~5000 miles per month so I'll use up the 12 coupons in less than a year and a half. May not work for guys who keep their trucks washed, waxed, and sitting pretty in their driveways to irk Ford owners.



Read somewhere that the new 600 Cummins has a 15000 mile change interval. That would be nice. Jeff
