I know this has been asked before but I am going to buy the bully dog pup or egde (70 HP) box for my 2004,305/555 in the very near future. I am buying this box more for fuel savings, lite towing and not racing. Do you think the 70 hp edge box would be the box to purchase? I am also looking at the bully dog pup,I already have the BD outlook monitor installed in my truck. Thanks for any info, good or bad on these two products. coobie :)

I'm trying to make the same call. Seems most on this site like the EZ? The PUP is a little cheaper here in Spudville. MPG would be good to know. Doc

go the pup.

lower rail pressure. too much pressure can have bad effects. timing/duration/pressure all in moderation are what the pup gives. the timing inproves mpg. [an honest 2mpg] the combo gives cooler egt than the ez pressure box. ya have the option to have 130 hp gain vs 70 of the ez and an option to gain even more with an upgrade download. ease of installation with the pup. reasonable price for the pup.

ive tried both and am way more happy with the pup.

Muddy, question for you?I thought I read on this forum awhile back that the bully dog pup made the overhead display go wacky and read false mpgs. Is this still true or has this problem been resloved? Thanks for any info. coobie :D

Just ordered the bullydog pup downloader from ftlbPerformance.com today. I mostly tow 14k lbs of 5th wheel and it sounded like something that I would be happy with. The price was OK at $387. 35 shipped. I hope I made the right decision. . Any body out there that has the same unit and are you happy? Thanks Bill

coobie,

anything ya do [downloadr/pressurebox/injectors/whatever will make the mpg display be off somewhat. mine is a bit over 1mpg off [showing better than it really is]with the pup and dd2s
