Sure hate reading stories like this, or to have them end up as soap operas on the board :(

The DSS I bought last fall bolted right up, and I just got my '03 track bar/bracket upgrade today from Rip. I hope it does bolt up but I did read about some issues with a couple of them. I was clueless about these problems behind the scenes. Regardless I am confident the appropriate people will step up to the plate should I have any problem bolting it up.

I think the DSS and track bar upgrade has been a tremendous product and solution to the frontend problems of our 4x4 CTDs. I think both Darrin and Marv deserve a lot of credit and kudos for making these products happen, whether or not one deserves it more than the other, and despite the recent falling out of sorts. I can only hope things can be sorted out a bit but that's a tough situation to say the least when the wife is part of the situation :(

Here is always two sides to a story, and in this case maybe three. At any rate I am happy with both my DSS and TBK (that came via RIP). Vaughn report back when you have the TBK installed. I think you will be saying the same thing, "Dodge should have built it this way!" Oo. SNOKING

Well I'm confused as to who to order from now. I'm interested in the DSS and I originally came across Marv's site. I just want to make sure that I get the best quality product. Sounds like Marv's got the upper hand on Darin in that area from reading through this thread.

I hate to hear the story that Marv posted. That's bad news.

What's up?

Does anyone know what's going on with Windecker? I've been trying to contact them for a few weeks now - and get no answer. The phone rings and rings - but no answering machine. I would like to buy a DSS from them - but can't get ahold of them. Please advise if you know anything.

Thanks,

Doug

Not sure what's going on with Windecker, but you can get a DSS from several other places:

Off the top of my head:

Rip at SourceAutomotive Source Automotive -- Main

Patty at Haisley's Haisley Machine

prolly several other places as well. Rip and Patty are both nice people with great service.
