I'm leaving first thing in the morning for the first "real" tow with my truck, Dallas to Tucson and back with the 5 er(31 ft, 10K). Wish me luck, I'll let you know how it went, next year when I get back(01/05/02).
You guys who can camp in the winter got it made. I sadly look outside and see my TT in hibernation with snow on it. But hey, the days are getting longer now, so bring on spring!
The second week in January I will be starting my haul to Alaska, hauling RV's up there from Indiana mostly should be done by second week in May, I hope!!
Yall have fun. I guess my next pull that amounts to anything is when I bring the 5er home from the farm where we hunt at. Not but 225 miles but it warms up the oil pretty good.
Well could have been worse, actually had a hell of a time.
Got to spend 4 days skydiving with the current world champions, saw the Grand Canyon, Petrified forest and the Painted desert and I drove Fred Swanson's truck!
Down side the fiver had a minor encounter with a concrete pillar, a little body work needed not bad, fan clutch went and my Janetty cooler line block(for temp sender) sprung a leak. Had Fred install a cooler line with the fitting on it while I was over there pestering him. He even went and got the fan clutch and sold it to me at his DEALER COST!!!! THANK YOU FRED, you will not meet a nicer guy, now I have to go back to AZ to for some transmission and injector work but you knew that already
Once again thanks to Fred Swanson for all the help, you didn't have to go out of your way like that, I will see you in a few months.
