time to start thinking about a new trans

and am contemplating switching to an auto. from the little reading i've done, i'm guessing i'd have to go with a 47rH, correct? and my other question is the big one,



how much would i have to spend on upgrades? if i maybe didn't go with "THE" best stuff and did the work myself. just a general ballpark would at least get my feeble brain started down this road. thanks

Are you talking about getting a new truck with a different trans or changing the trans you have in your current truck?
