Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) timing & mods

i'm going to soon bring my truck in for timing, and other stuff,

with the mods in my sig. what should i have the timing set at, i'm going to keep stock turbo setup & go no higher than 215's for injectors.

I would have to say about 14-15* would be optimum for your mods. What HP rated P7100 do you have?

i was running 19. 5* with stock HG and bolts for about a year before i had my head o-ringed, studded, with . 20 marine gasket. you'll be fine.

How does the timing affect the engine moving from 15-17 to 17 to 18 to 19?

I'm looking to move mine up with my new mods. Oo. Oo. Oo.

With the studs, you should be fine going higher than where you are at. The engine may be a tad louder and raises the cylinder pressure some.
