Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Timing??

Hi I got a quick question, My timing is set at 16. 5 degrees BTDC, I have a 160 pump with everything stock with the exception of a straight through exhaust (4-inch) and a 100 plate. Will this put my stock HG at risk??? I have 125K on the truck.

Even a stock gasket on a stock setup will go eventually, so there's always a chance. But there is different degrees of risk depending on your setup, and you are only low risk. I would classify myself as medium risk because I have 257K miles and more power.

You are fine, I ran 18* for a while but backed off the run the bigger turbo charger.
