I'm not sure if this is a common question or not, but is it possible to manually advance the timing on the ISB. I know the pump shaft is keyed, but can you advance the pump, say one or 2 teeth? What would happen? I'm not exactly sure how the pump reads cam/ crank position, but has/ can it be done?

Yes, every tooth is 5 degrees of timing. It has been done. Computer shouldn't know anything about pump position being off.

I think it has, but if you do it be sure to not use an Edge box on it. . . advances it too much. I'd consider a box that advances timing vs. doing it mechanically.

I was told it could not be done becuase of my crank sensor.

I asked this same question awhile and back was told a clear no.

I would like to know more if this can be done. I have to repair a KDP in a few weeks anyway...

You can also get different offset keys for the pump gear, but I don't think they're gonna move it as far as moving the gear a tooth.
