timing

I have got all the tools to set my timing, but can't figure out where to take the dial indicator readigs from? Does anyone have a shop manual on how to correctly set the timing?

you have to take the line and cap off of the first dilvery valve of the injector pump and the dial indicator should thread right on.

I dont know on the rotary pump what to do.

Inbetween the lines at the back pump you will find a small plug.
