Just a little heads-up - I believe your truck is like mine in that it has the 215 pump. I have found that these pumps are more difficult to time than the smaller HP pumps. The reason is, the pump cam is so steep and the force of the plunger on the cam so strong, that when you get it rotated up to where you want it (above about 15. 0*), and then pop the gear to roll the engine back to TDC, the pump jumps back (retards) significantly (1 to 2 mm in my experience). If this happens, you have to devise a different approach to setting the timing.
