Throttle Position Sensor Quandary or FUBAR?

Barring tool removed, no spinning in 6th. Thank you for that information, I learned something new.

Hopefully I'll have pics of the clutch/housing before the year ends. Just waiting on a few misc. parts in transit before I can set up a date and bother our yard tech for a weekend to remove and replace the clutch again..... using the lifts sized for the roll backs should help a great deal to make it an in and out process.

Didn't forget about this thread.

I wasn't able to use a lift at my previous employer to swap the clutch with the new 1947-OK HD from south bend. As I was told the cooperate bean counters no longer allowed non shop techs to work on their own vehicles, including management.

Shop tech I was on good terms with resigned and started up his own business as a AAA service garage, I got his number to stay in contact and to eventually get this clutch replaced.

I've since resigned after getting an Unrestricted class A and im getting ready to go OTR with TMC, I no longer have the time to mess with it.

Nothing has changed, all the symptoms remain on the South Bend 1947-OK HD installed by Standard Transmission and Gear of Fort Worth TX. In summary to keep it short, the clutch (single disk) is rattling like a dual disk, the clutch pedal binds in travel, and there is excessive noise from the clutch housing on engagement and disengagement.

After driving it all this time I think some thing is mechanically loose, maybe bolts on the flywheel or pressure plate. There's too much variation and inconsistency between the intensity of the symptoms.

Tentative plan is to add power (tune) to it and hopefully accelerate the rate of the mechanical failure to come. I've got another 1947 OK HD clutch kit on the shelf, Hydraulics, and a back up vehicle.

If something changes or information comes to light I'll post it here. Thank you to all those involved in this thread.
