I cut off the miters today and put on some flappers, little noisy, but the biggest problem i am having is uneven exhaust flow, the passenger side stack is blowin all the smoke and the drivers side is catching the leftovers. I dont know what causes this nor how to fix it, any suggestions.

Pictures would be good! This is what I am wanting to do to my truck. Are they louder than the mitres? Another question, Do the flappers go up and down at idle like the headline says?

they don't move much at idle, matter of fact 1 doesn't move much unless under fairly heavy throttle, sincerely considering bullhaulers.....

:D when ya gonna join the hauler' club kev??? were still waiting for some pictures..... atleast ya just chopped the ole miters up instead of getting a new set of straight cut stacks... .

When I first stacked mine I had the rain caps. I got tired of the ting ting ting and changed them out for turn out tips. It looked really cool when I would lay into her the caps would stand straight up. but they were even with the top of the cab so the noise in the cab was unbearable so I added the 18 inch turn out tips and that made a huge difference. I think if the stacks would have been another 18 inches to begin with it would have worked. oh well live and learn.

that's Fulmer's truck, but mine is the EXACT twin...

but I've since shaved the mouldings, pinstripe, SLT badges, and DODGE tailgate lettering

I've got some toys in the garage and some more on order... just hoping to find some time to INSTALL! :)

I'm gonna see just how much power that SPS66 will support w/ 370's and a tweaked 215 pump Oo. Oo. Oo.
