Need to tint the windows on my 05 quad cab and was considering doing the rear windows darker than the fronts, but am not sure how that will look. Anybody have any pictures of a truck done like that so I can get an idea of what it'll look like? Thanks.

No pics either and I don't know that it would show up well. I have the Texas legal limit on the front doors (35) and 20 on the rear doors and back window. Looks just fine.

I went Medium Ray Ban over factory on mine. If you do tint them do yourself a favor and get a good pair of backup lights as night time backing now becomes a trick to see thru the reflection of your dash panel and of course reduced visability at night.

Window tinting

Here is a picture of mine. Rear window and back windows were darkened up to about limo, and my two front windows are about 40%

It's a good idea to do this cause it keeps the inside of the cab cooler and prevents people from seeing what's in the back seat. I've done this to all of my trucks, 5% on the rear, and have been very happy. Also, go with the ToolMans advice on killer backup lights, you will need them.

lol i think the legal limits are a joke, yet i see reasons as to why they are set that way, here in maryland it is 35% legal limit, you can probably get away with 20% and never be hasseled by cops, and ive got 5% all around with a strip on the windshield, i like it alot, and my truck already had 20%in the rear from the fact. , and its a real PIA trying to look out at night with that combo, other than that i love it, you get used to driving around with it, and yes backup lights are a big help. the best part is no one can see in the truck unless looking very hard up close.
