Can anyone tell me if my 04. 5 3500, SRW QC is equpped with a totally integrated power module? My fog lamps quit working and I had heard that on newer models the head light were controlled through this module. I have had Sylvania bulbs in the fog lamps for over six months without any problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ii THINK the TIPM came out in '06.

Right. The TIPM was introduced in MY '06.

Thanks Pawpaw and JimBob 24. I got a pretty good deal when I bought the truck but I don't always trust their service department. I did talk with the dealer and they said it has FCM located on the back side of the fuse box that is usually the problem. I'm going to test my fuses one more time and if that does not work I guess I'm at their mercy. Thanks again.

Check your connections on the fog light wiring at the bumper. One of mine was slightly unplugged causing both fog lights not to work.

My foglights stopped working after the dealer replaced the FCM and they ended up replacing the PCM to get them working again. Claimed a relay wasn't working and it wasn't replaceable separate from the PCM. The original complaint was the horn going off when it got below -40. I don't think they fixed the problem but now it's too warm to tell.
