Tips on replacing 4WD switch?

Hi, I searched and checked the FAQ's. Any tips on replacing the 4WD switch? The knob on mine broke driving through Sandy, trip to the dealer resulted in ordering a complete switch... . Seems Mopar improved the design, and you can't get the knob only. $45 - not too bad.



Just seeing if anyone has replaced and has tips / how to. .
