We just bought a 2k 4X4 2500 Cummins for my wife! The truck does not need tires right now but I wanted to start the search early. The truck will be driven 80% highway 15% off road and 5% snow.

I want a tire that does not sing or roar on the highway, but has great traction when I need it on mud and snow...

What you think?????

Thanks

Rick

TIRES

RHarvey, check out Les schwab and Toyo Open country AT, I run them and they work great, drove cross country from Washington state with great ride and all. Cost around $150-175 per tire. I got 285/75/16 that look real good on the factory aluminum wheels. Hope this helps

MT/Rs

My MT/Rs ride better, wear better, handle better, and look better than the stock Michelins. And, I can't hear them over the engine.

I know a couple of racers that run Kumho tires on both race and personal vehicles. They have good comments with these tires, and what I've read from others when I looked them up in the Tire rack site. I'll be trying these tires next month. They just came out with a "E" load 265/75/16.
