Has anyone purchased a set of chains, or cable chains for 315/75R16 tires? I am thinking about getting a set. How much did the set of four cost... . I am expecting it to be close to $350. How well do they work? What type did you get?

You must be planning to go into some SERIOUS snow country to need to spend $$$ for front & rear chains on a 4x4! I have owned several 4x4's and have NEVER had to chain up. I just pop it in 4 and take it slow!![]()
Save that $350 and use it for other bombs..... hehe

WIMP! When I was doing snow runs in Grand Cherokee, the guys who chained up were harassed, BIG TIME! The other trucks were Jeeps, Bronco's, Toyotas, etc. We didn't want to dig into the snow, we wanted to float across the top. What PSI do you run when in the snow (you DO air down, right?) With a big, heavy Cummins, I'm guessing 5 PSI front and 6 PSI rear.....
