will 35 X 12. 5 17 in tires stick out of wheel wells on stock wheels on an 06 2500 truck? i was going to buy 285/75 nitto terra's but they are on national backorder. i need to change my factory bald tires, and my lift looks stupid with stockers. i'm up in the air between 285/75 17 nitto terra's or 35X12. 5 17 toyo m/t's. I really wanted to go with the 34 in a/t tire because i don't go off road that much. but those 35 m/t look awesome.

thanks for input.

A lot of the most popular Nitto/Toyo/Bridgestone and Firestone tires seem to be backordered. Another option is 285-75-17 Toyo MT's. I've ridden in a truck with Carli's starter and these rims. The tires are very quiet(new) and the whole package rode great.

You can get the Nitto's in a 305 load range E also that is just a hair bigger than the 285/75. The max inflation on the 305 is 60psi and they are about one inch wider too. I am trying out the 305's now after poor longevity on the 285/75 toyo at. These seem to be wearing better but only time will tell I guess.

i pulled the trigger today on the nitto terra grappler 285/75 17's they are backordered but have a set payed for and reserved. if they take too long I can switch to the toyo's. . I am on the pavement 99% of the time. it just doesn't make sense to get a mud tire, even though they look sick. .
