Just bought a new set of Bridgestone REVO 265's E range and I'm experiencing a fairly severe chop on the front passenger side and moderate chop on the drivers side after a few thousand miles. I had the shop re-balance them ... . no help

The truck has 160,000 mi

The Bilsteins I have on the front have about 90,000 mi on them

Had ball joints about 20,000 mi ago along with new bearings etc.

Trak bar has a lukes link... adjusted properly.

The last tires, "michelin's" wore evenly

Any Ideas?

unfortunatly once a tire develops a wear pattern it will just continue to do so. Mine self chopped themselves so badly that I had to chuck em and start again. It's a sign that your front end has some wear items that may need attention paid ti them.

Ball joints

Tie Rod ends

Track bar

Shocks and their bushings

wheel bearings

steering box

and / or a simple geometric alignment .

I have the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo's 285 75R16's for over 6 months and 14,000 miles. I have rotated them once and do not have any tire chop. I read the reviews on them from the Tire Rack before I bought them and saw where no one mentioned any problem of this type. ToolManTimTaylor may have a point.

I don't believe it's a tire defect either. Just wondered if anyone else has tackled this problem. Haven't found a good front end guy yet.....
