Tire pressure monitor systems

Does anybody, or has anybody used the tire sentry or doran pressurepro tire monitoring systems? Do you like one over the other? Thank's in advance.

Doran Tire Pressure system

I have been using the Doran tire pressure system for 5-6 years and love it. It works, the only problem I have had is that I ran into a oversize valve stem thread on a tire when I went from my 94 to the 06. I had to have a new valve stem put in, but I checked the stem first to make sure the tranmitter would fit. I have replaced the seals in several of the transmitters, but that is no big deal.



I have the set up for 10 tires, all five on the truck and all five on the camper.



Again the best I can say is that it works, and the pressures displayed will always be within 1 psi of any digital gauge I check it with.

Used Doran on truck and trailer for 4 yrs, no problems and it is within 1 lb of gauge measured pressure

I have seen those systems before and woundered aobut them. Do the sensors just thread on in place of the valve stem cap? Or some other way?



What is the life expectancy of the sensor batteries?
