Here is a bit of information on the TST system that might be helpful to you. They have 3 styles.
We still prefer & use the 510 that has sealed batteries. At the end of the 5 to 7 year battery life, you just send the sensor with $20.00 and they send you a new sensor. I also like the fact that it has a stand alone monitor.
The 507 system has user replaceable batteries. They last about 9-10 months. The batteries are easily obtained at places like Amazon.com, etc. The monitor is shaped more like a cell phone so you would either use the "stand" that comes with it to put it on your dash or use the windshield mount.
The 507 Flow Thru is like the 507 except for the fact that you can add or let out air without removing the sensor. Everything else is the same.
The system sure saved us when a brake caliper stuck because it generated such heat, our alarm went off. Everything was fine except for the tremendous head generating from out drivers side middle wheel. We did loose the caliper {fortunately Dutch had a spare} but we didn't lose the rotor, tire or any fiberglass damage because we knew were warned. That sure sold me. Hug,s Di

bought a Doran 360 system this year - so far, so good. Would never tow again without a TPMS. I liked their controller/LCD better than the rest I researched. Can configure the truck and trailer separately, and then turn "off" the trailer portion when not towing. Easy install. Only thing not wild about is the non-replaceable batteries, but they are supposed to last 5 years or so.

TPS Sensor replacement part number ? aftermarket sensors with alum/steel stems? they sold me one with a rubber stem

Any brand better than others ? does genos sell these? will look it up

have tested all tires and tire batterys scan says batterys are good but keep getting random dash light for tire sensors? goes on for a little while then goes out again annoying
never had this happen before?

will not buy off brand tire sensor again /tire shop item repair sensor is questionable? they say it is working fine?

have a phantom windshield washer sensor acting weird also

is this a servicable item? washer tank is full and it says low fluid on evic

Austin,
I have one rubber stemmed Tire pressure sensor installed at the dealership 3 years ago. It is still working.

My TPS system was flakey over the summer. It would not let me use the light load setting and I would get random tire pressure warning lights on the dash. Then one day it just stopped....... I have had no trouble since and it will now allow me to use the light load setting. Weird......

The TST 507 controller has these same capabilities - (Mode -) turns off the trailer; (Mode +) turns it on. Each axle (truck and trailer) can have its unique pressure and temperature alarm settings.
