My first couple 3500s (maybe the first 3?)came with full load and light load inflation pressures on the door sticker. The light load pressure was either 40 or 45 PSI, so I have always run 40 PSI when unloaded. The tires seem to wear fine.
I run 60 front and 45 rear unloaded . When I first turn it on the display says my rear tires need air but no alarm, just the triple warning light stays on. Easy to ignore
I had a 2014 2500 and ran the tires right above 72 (stone cold) and no warning light, below that the light was on. I don't understand why the system on the 3500 is different than the 2500. Probably the Gov't......pita.
