Now that I have installed my SkyJacker D25 springs, I am looking to upgrade to bigger tires while still maintaining the factory alloys.

I would like to upgrade to 315's and I have seen this done but are there any drawbacks? Perhaps I should settle for the 305's. The 305's might look more proportionate for such a small lift. I have even seen 285's that looked real good on a truck similar to mine. I just need some help to make up my mind on the size. Any advice is appreciated.

You will get a ton of different opinions, but I like a little smaller tire that does'nt completely fill the wheelwell. 285's here.

Welcome to the TDR. :)

I'm running BFG AT 315/75R16 on a stock truck and generally like them. The thing that I'm trying to get away from, however, is that they are only a load class D. That means that they don't hold as much air. On the heavy trucks that means squishy tires and the fuel mileage sucks. As far as fit and looks: can't be beat.

Just my $1. 385.
