ok I know this has been talk about before have read the past post and I am :confused: as to what is the best rotation pattern to use or if I should not rotate at all, I would look at the owner manual but I seem to have miss placed it and now is lost since I have moved.
 
I don't see any benefit of rotating tires on a daully. The manual I believe says to rotate the inner daul with the front. But the front wears less than the two dually tires so you will have the inner tire with more tread. Seems it would cause the inner tire to wear more and carry a greater portion of the load.

Also you are always going to have more wear on a dually set than the front due to the small rotation difference between the two tires. I know it is a small difference but how else to explain the greater wear back there when not running much load.
 
OK I've thought about this last night so for give me if i seem a little dense :confused: but how is it that the the rear tire will wear faster than the front, I thought I had a logical seance :-laf about thing but this just baffle me sense every vehicle I have own has worn the front tire down before the rear. please enlighten me I am all ears Oo.
 
This is what I have done regardless of what the manual says. I usually don't rotate the spare because it is mostly wore out, but still a good spare. One time I rotate the outer right dually with the right front. Likewise with the left outer to left front. Inner dually to inner dually. Next time I rotate the right inner dually with the right front. Likewise with the left tires. Then outer dually with outer dually. I use four heavy duty jack stands, a 6 ton bottle jack and a corded electric impact wrench. I do this maybe every 7 to 8,000 miles. It's best to get the whole truck off the ground and use an impact wrench, otherwise you'll be at it all day.
