I've got my new wheel choices narrowed down to two, both eagle alloys, 143, and 589. I am trying to decide which would be spaced farther out, 143= -3mm offset; 4 1/4 Backspace. 589= -11mm offset; 4 inch backspace. Which would be out more? How would they be related to stock. Any info appreciated.

Thanks, Steve

Backspacing = the perpendicular distance from the inner mounting surface out to the rim edge.

Offset= the distance the inner mounting surface is from the imaginary centerline of the rim. If the distance is outward from the centerline to the mounting surface then it's said to be positive & vice versa for negative.

Don't know the stock specs so can't compare the three but of the two you've listed the they're pretty much equal as the 1/4" & 8mm (11mm - 3mm) dfferences pretty much cancel.

Good luck.
