What size tires are you guys running on your 2wd trucks? My 82 crew cab has 225/75R16's on the front and 7. 50/16 bias ply on the back. Just wondering what you all are running.

235/85x16s. That was the "standard" size specified for my truck, and they just barely clear the front fender openings when turning. I actually had to trim the plastic moulding a little when I put aftermarket wheels on because they didn't have quite as deep of backspacing.

as I understand it, the 'typical' dually size is the 235/85-16, load range E - that's what I'm running.

I'm running 265/75 16 D range on stock rims... . gives a better ride and handles better than it did with the stock 235/85 E range tires.

just switched over to 2nd gen wheels with 265/75 r16 load range e michelins, looked on the site and they're identical in diameter to the 235/85/r16 load range e I had on there. the new ones give a great ride as well. . now if only I had a borgeson
