My '14 3500 came with 275/70/18 Firestone tires but this next spring would like to upgrade to some bigger tires. I like the factory rims so I will stick with those, so I'm wondering if it will be possible to install 35" tires on the factory rims? I already have a front leveling kit to help with clearance.

Any fuel economy advantage to larger diameter tires? Or does the extra weight of the rubber negate fuel mug increases?

I just went to 295/70/18 and lost a few mpg...but was worth it for being offroad so much...they will fit on factory rims but I went with new ones for the look

I had 285/75/17's on mine until a few months ago and now I run 275/65/20's. Both of them have been on factory rims. They fit fine and I don't notice any appreciable fuel mileage difference.
