2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Tire Sizeing Question.

My truck is a 2001,std trans. ,4x4, posi. rear end. It came with LT265/75 16 LR-E. From my 1999 truck I have a new spare LT245/75 16 LR-E. Could I purchase another 245 tire and run the pair on the rear. Then buy a 265 and use it with my new spare up front. Or vise versa , Could I rotate the pairs front to back to even wear. How much difference is there size wise between a 265 & a245. Thank a Bunch PoorboyOo.

The difference is a couple of inches OD. I would not run two different sizes. I would definately not recommend it in 4wd.



If you have to run them, I'd run the 245's in front and 265's in rear.



What about selling or trading the 245. try the classified ads.
