I have noticed my rear tires wear alot faster than the fronts on my 2500 4x4. I have read others say the same . Why is this and is this normal? I get even wear but can only get a max of 30K on a set of tires. 75% city 25% Hwy.
Under normal easy driving the front tires should wear faster than the back simply because the front is heavier, so I would surmise that you are heavy on the go peddle causing the rear tires to wear faster... ... ... ... JMO
Maybe he's rotating those back one's a lot more than the front. Ever notice if you hold the brake lightly and let out the clutch in 1st, they'll just sit there and turn slowly? Freaks people out at the traffic lights. Oo. Oo.
