Tires From Dealer??

I was at my dealer today BSing with the service manager and he quoted me BFGs for less than 200 bucks. Thats as cheap as Discount tire. I'm sure they will brake it off in me somewhere but I thought it worth mentioning.

Hate to say it but my dealer in Spokane beat the local Les Schwabs by $400 dollars on six GSA's. I don't know how their doing it.

How many tires do you think DCX purchases from the tire companies in a year? I would bet that it is WAY more than any one tire chain in the US. Buy in bulk, beat the competition's price, make more $$$.

A friend of mine is getting ready to replace his tires soon on his truck, so he's been pricing tires an found that the best price was from the dealership. He has a Ford an my simpitity. :-laf

I have a couple friends that work at the Goodyear dealer here in town. Not only can the Ford dealer sell Goodyears cheaper than the Goodyear dealer can buy them for himself, but then when the Ford dealer needs tires, he goes over to the Goodyear dealer to get them. Of course Goodyear credits their dealer on the loss. Hell of a racket, huh?
