Off Roading Tires/ Lift

I am want to put some 35 x 10. 5in tires in my stock wheels and as thinking, could I just use Skyjacker 2. 5in coils as a leveling kit instead of the spacers and fit these tires? Would the truck higher in the front if it was unloaded with the taller springs?

My 94 has a rancho 2" front lift and with a 40 gallon fuel tank aft of the axle the rear is slightly lower than the front. The 35" BFG's fit just fine on the stock wheels,for many years now.

I have the SJ 2. 5's and I sit level with about 600 lbs. in the back, loaded to the rear. I rub on full lock R turns with 305/70/16 tires, that's a 33 12. 5 tire. I ordered the adjustable trac-bar from Don Thuren and belive this will fix my problem. You might also look at Kore springs. The cost difference is not that bad and will put you ahead of the game on later bombing projects. I wish I had. Good luck, Mike

Can Any One Tell Me If The Whells And Tires Off Ofa 2005 F550 Will Fit A 2005 Dodge Dully?

i have 315/75/r16 on stock rims... they didnt rub at all when it was stock and they look small with a 4" lift

Don't the Fords of that size have 10 lug wheels?

Only the old body F-superduty had 10 lugs. The new ones have 8 lugs but on a huge bolt circle, almost 9".

Standard Ford 99-2004 F250-350 is 8 on 170mm, not sure about 05+ I think it's the same just a different back spacing. F450+ have a 10 on ???.

Negative on the 10 lugs on newer SuperDutys (F450-F550). We have them at work and I looked and measured 'em. They have 8 lugs but on a huge bolt circle (nearly 9").

edit: Just remembered, Chevrolet had 10 lug 19. 5s on their old body style 3500HD. They had 5 lugs up front and 10 in the rear. These trucks also had a straight axle up front. Basically the same stuff they'd been putting under heavier duty stepvans for years.

Alrighty, I'm gonna change my tune a bit here. We just got a brand spankin new '05 F550 4x4 at work today and it has 10 lug wheels. Appearently they have done some changing on these puppies. Along with more lugs, the track width is wider too, about 6" wider. So, the old square Superdutys had 10 lugs, the 99-04 had 8 lugs, and the 05 have 10 again. Hopefully this clears things up. If anyone even cares at this point.

just wondering what size tire i can put on a 20'' rim with a leveling kit, would like to put 35's but worried about rubbing.
