tires

Have been using Michelin M/S tires for years love them. Have 235 etc's 530 rpm to 215's 560 rpm so about 5% faster so compensate most of the time. Run 50 lbs in the rear and they don't rub with quit abit of weight in the rear at times and 60 lbs in the front.

NO NO NO get rid of those little 215's Sorry just my opinion. I am actually running 265 75 16's with a spacer in the rear. my 235's never rubbed.

What year is your truck? Stock wheels? How big of a spacer? I have a full set 265's but I was unsure if they would fit.

Hi Rattle My truck is a 1995 I have the same spacer as above in that ebay auction 1/4 inch thick. I am running stock wheels with 265 75 16 Mud Terrain SXT made by Avon that Les Schwab sells. I would never run this tire up front but I love them for a rear tire. I am running 35 Lbs. in the rears and they touch just slightly. If you look in my photo album there are some photos of the tires and how close they are. The touching has not caused a problem at all.
