I'm really liking the XLT's. They are a good all around tire. We avg 100" + of snow a year, much of which is wet and heavy. I am right in the thick of the snow belt on Lake Erie.
I've been running loads of fill out back to my orchard this summer. 5-6 tons a load plus truck and trailer. The Last 3-400 yards there is no road and we've had a ton of rain this year. Of the 12 loads I've hauled so far I've needed 4wheel drive twice and both times were in reverse. They have really impressed me given the ruts I've been carving to get where I need to go. I've had other tires where I've needed 4wheel drive to get in and out of similar conditions with an empty trailer let alone one with a 6 ton payload.
