Toyo makes a 35X12. 50R18 M/T Load Range E, rated at 3415 lbs at 65psi. 35s will fit with no lift or modifications.
That is a nice tire but 33" is pushing it for my mountain towing with a 48re and 3. 73's. If I had the 4. 10's I'd proly buy em.

I would like to see a pic, and what kind of A/T tire would work well

Well this one:#ad

It's 32. 8" in diameter and would fit real nice on that 8. 5" T-Rex wheel.

More info on it can be found here

I just have never known those to be very round... . seems like they always take twice the amount of weight to balance vs a name brand competitor. Its ok... got my flame suit on.

I would like them a little bigger, plan on putting leveling kit on
In that case TriGuy's mention would be the ticket for you, they look like this:#ad

Sizes are listed here notice the 35/15. 50R18 fits the 8. 5" T-rex wheel.

Thats the same tire I run now in a 285/70R17, they work real nice... very low noise and excellent highway wet, dry & snow traction. There is a 35" in the line up but its minimum rim width is 9" and at 13" they are kinda wide but would probably squeeze onto the T-Rex 8. 5x18 wheel.

Is this $435 price something new? I called T-Rex a few weeks ago, $500 per wheel, told her I read about them on TDR. I hate the way my Mickey Thompsons stick out, anyone have a set of the 05 factory polished alloys they would like to part with?

Matt, the spec chart for LT285/70R 17 shows 2755 lbs max load. Is that a load range C that you're running?
Yes, when I ordered them they were for a 2500 Hemi I had ordered... the truck never showed due to paint issues so my new tires went on the CTD that replaced the ordered truck.

I have 24K on them now and it looks like they won't need changing till next winter. I run them at 50psi. Obviously I wouldn't recommend them for hauling due to the load rating. I will go back to a D or even an E tire for safety when I buy again.

The tire and wheel dilemna sucks. I put 18x9 wheels on my new 600. The wheels are black chrome on a bright silver truck. It looks bad ass! Only problem is that the wheels stick way out. Even on the back. So I ordered Bushwacker fender flares, the third biggest size, about 2 inch or so. That does the trick to cover the tires (325 60 18).

Toyo Open Country A/T. If you can do without a mud terrain tire, I don't think that tire can be beat. They are expensive in these bigger sizes, but they last, are quiet, ride great, and look killer for an a/t tire. ;)

Toyo and Nitto I understand are owned by the same co. so maybe we will see some 295/70R17's from Toyo also. Would be real killer to have that size in an 18 with load E.

Toyo keeps news pretty up to date here

Thats where I found a better pic that shows what the A/T really look like:

I like the toyo a/t I would like to go with a 325 . the price I saw shocked me. anyone find the best place to get these.

I am selling my ricksons now and getting 325s in the spring

If I had the money right now, I'd go with T-rex wheel. As it is, I'm stuck with my 18x9 CLs with the 4 1/2" backspacing. If you do the math, the stock wheel is 8" with a 6. 25" backspacing. That's 6. 25-8 = 1. 75 sticking out away from your truck. In my case now, I have a 9" wheel with a 4 1/2" BS; thats 4. 5-9=4. 5" sticking out away from my truck. Another 2 3/4" than stock. Looks kind of silly and definately creates the need for fender flares.

Since Kent has chimed in on this discussion, what is the benefit of having a "hub-centric" wheel? The factory wheels are not hub-centric are they?
