Hey Wirenut, are you out there? Your truck looks great. What size tires and wheels are on the "ol Cummins". I have a 92' Dodge like yours and thought about doing some upgrades. I thought your truck loooked very nice, so do a lot of others on this site! Does your truck have a lift to fit those 285's? Thankd a lot for the information.

Thanks man, what you wanna do is buy yourself some rims that are 10" wide. My tires are 285/75R 16" which is about the same size as 33's except 33's are hard to find in 16". I didnt have to lift my truck for the tires to fit. They don't rub. Have fun and feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

Hey Wirenut, I did some checking and I think I'm going to get a set of B F Goodrich Mud Terrains. I'm not sure what size to go with. Either the 265/75R 16" or the 255/85R 16". Can you tell me the difference in size between these two tires. I don't understand the way the metric measurements are read. I definately want to get the 10" rims like yours because it looks great with the width.
Do these tires last long on the road, especially the fronts, what do they do with the weight of the 830Lb. Cummins. Maybe this will help out these trucks in the mud, what do you think! Also, do you go to many diesel rally's in the United States. I want to go to the Scheid Diesel rally in Indiana this summer and want to know how much fun these are. What type of horsepower are you making, did the turbo housing benefit much. How much better would a truck run with only a few pump modifications and an exhaust. Just checking, I might do a little work sometime down the road. Thanks a lot!
