35 K on my 03 3500 4wd. Will need new tires ASAP. I have always been a Michelin fan, but I have heard good things about Goodyear steel-tech(I think that is what they are called). Looking for suggestions on what type and any good suppliers. I am close to Abilene TX.

Replacement is about all you can do at this point. I think you will only find two tires in that size until some other tire makers start producing them. Perhaps November.

Does anyone know of other mfg of the 235-80-17 size? The DRW greatly restricts tire options unless you buy the 19. 5 wheels.

I went ahaed and ordered an exact replacement to replace the one I ruined- $208! How does this price compare?? My local tire man said that Michelin does not even make this size and he could only find Goodyear and Firestone. I am going to hold off on replacing the rest as long as possible. Aren't 19. 5's way more expensive?

I doubt your tire man found that size at Firestone. The Goodyear is still the only tire offered for the Dually.

The price is immaterial since it is the only tire available and you need them.

Two (2) models years in production and still no tires. Thanks DC.

The 19. 5" setup is expensive. Check out Rickmans in the links section.

Good luck. At least your Goodyears didn't separate. Oo.
