Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Tires

I currently am running Goodyear MTRs. I like the tire a lot but I went to a larger 305 and was told that a could not get a load range E. I would have to drop back to a C. Who makes a 305 with good off road tread?

I just bought a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers..... load range D at a 295x70x17 tire. discounttiresdirect.com had them for 875 with free shipping... for 5 tires. Even though only D rated they are up there in the 3000 range with 65lbs of air I believe.

Toyo Open Countries are load range e in 305's

My BFGs are load range D, 3100-3200lbs, somewhere around that.



Figure that's 12400lbs, truck weighs let's say 7200lbs, tire can still hold 5200lbs.
