Looking for advise on new tires for my 99 4WD. I'm currently running ProComp but they have 55K miles on them. I want a tire that will improve the ride, not be too loud on the highway, and provide good off road traction.

Recommendations will be appreciated.

BF Goodrich A/T T/A Is what I used when I wanted a good riding tire but not for towing as it is a "D" tire. . I had 285/75-16" ...

For towing, I had and still have on my new truck Michelin LTX MS 245/70R-19. 5" "F" Rated 12 ply. These tires sang a little more but roll very well

I've got Terra Grapplers on the 99'. I don't do much off-road with it but logging roads and snow and ice have shown the tire to hold up quite well. On road driving is great and they're not loud. They've only got about 8k on them so far but seem to be wearing fine. I have pro-comp M/T's on the 04. 5 and i've hated every mile. Hope that helps.

We run the Firestone Transforce A/T's (load range "E")on our small fleet. We have always gotten at least 50k miles from them. The trucks have heavy service bodies on them and are off road on new construction job sites daily. We have run almost every brand of tire and are very pleased with the Firestone's--wear, traction, and cost.
