Don, I am running 285's, they do not rub or hit anywhere. If you have the really thick plastic mudflaps you could have a rub at full lock. The 285's are 32. 9 inches tall in a BFG, and the 265's are 31. 9, I figure about a 4% error on the speedo. You would be going 52 actual with a 50 MPH indication. Not enough to worry about really. If that much error bothers you I think the only way to correct it is with an Abbott speedometer correction box, or something lke it. I might as well plug the tires I have, the BFG A/T KO. I have gotten over 50K miles out of them on this truck and still had some life left. I think they would have gone 60K easily. They ride and drive really well, are quiet, and have great traction in all but slush or super sticky mud. They are about $170 each. When these are gone I will buy another set, that will make set 3 on this truck. Hope this helps.
