Titan SuperTanks fill problem

I have replaced my stock fuel tank on my 2003 Cummins with a 60 gal. Titan SuperTank. I'm happy with the construction and fit of the tank, however I do have a problem:

Whenever I fill, and it is about time for the nozzle to automatically click off, fuel shoots out the fill opening. Not just a little, but I guess something like a cup or so. Makes a big mess on side of my truck and on the ground. Embarrassing too.

I asked Spooled-Up if he thought his vent kit would solve this problem. He doesn't think it would.

So, what can I do?

Perhaps back off the nozzle one click as it nears full.

Glenn... Mine does the same thing, sometimes. The problem is that the tank is taller then the stock tank, and the fill hose is almost level with the filler nozzle (in fact... it has a small crimp in the hose where it bends back down to go into the tank). When I installed mine, I wondered if this was going to be a problem with splashback or not being able to get all the fuel in the tank. It hasn't been a problem with getting all the fuel in, but I have had it "burp" on me a couple of times at the end of the fill. BTW... My tank was the 57Gal one. They don't make that one anymore, as the design changed somehow. On the whole, I've been very happy with this tank...
