I keep hearing on CNN about how bad the snow is up north. I just thought I would let you know that those of us down south are having a hard time getting our yards cut. Somehow I dont think this will make CNN, but tall grass is just as much of a crisis for us down here, as deep snow is for you up there. We have had a very wet winter, and there was a small tornado south of Austin this evening. We will recover pretty quick since it is supposed to be in the 70's again this weekend #ad
Who knows, I might have to take the Jetski out on Saturday. #ad

Sounds like you went through West Texas or the pan handle. Keep in mind that El Paso is closer to Los Angeles than Houston. There is lots of room for different types of terrain and climate.

Hey, how many of you have gotten in your truck when it was so cold that the seats weren't cushioned any more? Just curious, oh and its 35 today, and im walking around in a t-shirt. Extension cord is standard in my truck!

Conleyjo, what snow up north? Tuesday was shorts and tees weather (close to 70) in parts of the NorthWest, steady 50s-60s & lots o' sunshine around here #ad
Spring fever in full swing and lovin' the ride with the windows down. Bug guts on the windshield must be a sure sign of spring #ad

I, for one, enjoy that pesky grass being stomped by snow. When it does melt, you can't stop it from growing. I should just black top it, and have burnout contests.

And where I have been through Texas, all there is is brown, dead stuff and rock!!!
And lots of wind. #ad

Same for me. The first couple miles you swear your butt-ox is frostbitten

We have to carry scoop shovels, tow ropes, jumper cables(for the other guys),power service additive, extension cord and let the truck warm up 10 min. before leaving the house. Can't wait till it gets over 30 for more than 1 day to melt all this white crap. Can't wait to roll the windows down other than for going through the drive up. Come on spring!

Well, at least you all have some moisture! We are all worried down here about burning up and blowing away! Just last week, we had 1. 25 inches of rain!!! Is the first measurable precipitation in almost 6 months... plus, the night temps were in the 20's every night in Nov. , Dec. and most of January making everything brown and spark-ready... and yes, there are idiots out there who light fires for fun!!

Grrr, is getting stung a sign of spring? #ad
Dadgom Yellowjacket nailed me on the arm when pulling weeds out of the flowerbed yesterday. Didn't even see the bugger at first and wondered why some stickers on a weed could sting that much. He didn't live long after that.
