My 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 still has the stock exhaust. I haven't had alot of luck selling it, so in the meantime I thought about deleting the original muffler and resonator. From a resale standpoint, should I cut the orginal exhaust or go with straight pipe. In other words, if you were going to buy such a truck would you rather see the stock exhaust or a straight pipe?

Actually I would like to see at the very least, a full 4" system . Then depending on my mood, I would argue with you about the straight pipe and use that as a point in haggling price seeing as how I would have to replace your hacked up system. How much for the beast anyways, what miles, etc. ?

Asking $19,000 for the truck, it has 98,000 miles, and 21,000 miles on a Cummins ReCon engine replaced in December of 04. The drivetrain is bone stock with absolutely no performance upgrades, except a K&N Intake. All new custom interior and new tires.
