To paint or not to paint

Need some help. I have a 07 mineral gray 2500. I have bushwacker flares that are black, kind of want them same color as truck. Does anyone have any pictures with colormatched flares.

I have an 03, it's close to the mineral grey but a little darker. I was going to paint mine until I held them up to my truck, they match the mirrors and the door handles so I installed them without paint.



Now I am glad I did not paint them, no rock chips, no door dings, I wax them and they shine.



Mine are EGR? brand, I think, not quite black, very dark, dark, charcoal color. Sorry no pictures, spend all my money on mods, no digital camera.

mine is an 03 as well, graphite I think. A little darker than mineral but you get the idea.

Paint

My truck came with black flares on it when I bought the truck. I thought they looked good; they matched the mirrors and the nerf bars. But then the clear coat on the flares started to chip off and the nerf bars started to rust. Why do people buy cheap stuff? Do it once and do it right, Paint them!
