ok fellas, called Industrial Injection and thanks to Brady there, he found my little problem we think.

As i crank her with the injectors cracked, #1 will scoot fluid in a foamy mass. None other of the injectors will scoot fluid. So what is happening is #1 injector for sure is stuck open and the engine compression is backing up through the injector into the system. By shooting ether to it she starts to crank and approx 1500rpm+ the IP starts to pump more fuel that over compensates the compression of the engine therefore starting up and then running. But when i shut her off, the system bleeds down again and the trouble starts all over again. soooooooooo the moral of the story is i get to use those RV275 injectors i got off EBAY approx 9 months ago, cya !

ebozard,

glad it is getting sorted out. I never had to crack an injector, just relieve pressure at the injection pump to let air bubbles get removed and until clean fuel is steady. Best to do it with the key on and the pump running. It starts in about 3-5 seconds after clean fuel is flowing and the bubbles are gone. You went one step farther than I did with the injectors. It will run a little rough for a minute or two and then be fine. But, the best thing is that you found the problem.

MCummings, it's a theory, a good one i might add, but we'll see, i am putting the new injectors in today, i'll keep ya'll posted.

MCummings,

Problem solved !

Make a long story short, the fuel line fitting supplying the lift pump was leaking air. Put another washer on and tightened the shhhh out of it and she been running allllll day.

Now on anither note, my '99. The VP44 is toast, we put a scanner on it and what ever the mechanic told me the codes were, he said it will require a New Injection Pump.

So i got some good new today and some bad, oh well this is life ! cya
