To renew or not??

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Yo' Greenleaf....

Has anybody seen one of these ?

I have been a member for a while and just got my reminder card today. Just can not decide if I want to spend $35 again:confused::confused:?? There are just a couple other Cummins sites that have really become great and they are free. It also just seems that its becoming a bit less busy around here lately. What are your guys thoughts?? I know we also get the magazine, which is nice but I am more of a web user anyway.

Yes there are some other websites and forums. But I still believe these are the most knowledgable people out here on the TDR. I am happy with my membership had let it go for a while and I am still kicking myself for letting it go :{:{:{.

I would do it after all it's only $35. 00 it's not like it will break you :-laf:-laf:-laf or is it !

You pay to belong to the club. When I joined in 96 there was only the magizine and a few get togethers . The Web site was an added feature that did not cost extra. Now we have TDR travel companion, calenders and contest at the same price.

The few probelms the TDR has saved me money on (starter solenoid contacts, rubber fuel lines, vacuum pump seal, KDP) has paid for several life time memberships.

For my money worth every penny (alright then Cents) and after, all what is money? (too much can become a grave embarrassment and lead to countless problems, I believe in sharing the Wealth) I have found it very useful regardless of question as not totally devoted to truck troubles. As long as I can cadge a measly $35 from my wife I'll be a member.

First - Content, there is a huge amount of technical content here, I would venture to say more than any other site. Renewal is a small price to pay to help keep that content available.

Second - While things are slower, let's talk about why. In my opinion, the economy is slow, Diesel is way high and lots of folks are trying to get mileage increases and more longivity out of their trucks. What better place to be in on the forthcomming information and research than here.

Last - If you have some issue with the site or mods, you will not find a more condisive environment to work it out than this site.

I think I covered lots of possibilities. We're a great group, please stick around.

Ok here is my take on this, I don't know how many months I have been on here but I had been debating wether or not to subscribe, but it has been worth it. I have helped a lot of people with tech. questions and stuff like that and I have learned so much. I'm gonna keep subscribing until I get put 6 feet under.

The 6. 7 forums here are nothing compared to some other free forums, but you can't beat the info here on all the 5. 9's.

I hope we get some more 6. 7 traffic as I don't like the feel of the best forum on the 6. 7's right now. To many punks, not enough mechanically minded people.

Anyways, it's just $35 pay up.

C'mon man! ... . it's only a 1/4 tank of fuel investment ... . and the membership lasts ayear and not for a few miles!!!

To me the search feature alone is worth the cost of membership. The amount of information available is priceless. When I joined I knew nothing about diesel trucks/engines, but with the help of the TDR I've installed every mod in my sig by myself. I've probably saved enough to pay for a lifetime membership.

I belong to free sites too, but if I need info that I know will be accurate I come here. Too much mis-info and BS on the free sites.

I give my renewal to my parents every christmas. They love it as it's an easy gift to give and they are happy to give it because they know how much I am into my truck.

is the "slowness" seasonal?

To me: It's warm outside. Crops/Garden. Yard. House. And work is booming this time of year. The computer can wait.

TDR subscription has paid for itself evry year I've had it, many times over.

WLowe hit the nail on the head. Before I became a member, I paid the Dodge dealer over $500 to service my transmission fluid, diff fluids, x-fer case fluid and coolant.

Since becoming a member, I've asked lots of questions and performed every mod (except injectors) myself. Had lots of fun learning and doing it too.

Lots of helpful people on this site and I can't wait for the TDR magazine to come every quarter.

Personally the TDR membership means much much more to me than pondering the . 0954 cents per day/ 35. 00 a year subscription. It's keeping tabs on firends, Whats going on, the magazine, general support, the TDR travel companion, and just being part of the number one diesel community bar none. I am not saying this as a Fanboy, Moderator, or a Brag artist.

When I think back to all the things I have done to this truck, performance related, troubleshooting, repairing and helping others, and the learning that goes along with it (Plus cost savings on having things done by a tech) I can't say that the TDR had nothing to do with any of it when it has had everything to do with it to some degree or another.

I do not know where I would be without the knowledge this site has given me, I would be out not only in cash, but out some awesome friends, a local club with a shop, events (some HUGE ones that are many states away). To this day I still thank god I subscribed here over 7 years ago.

For everything else there is mastercard, but spending 35 beans on the TDR ..... Priceless.

Hope you don't go as there is a long road ahead that the TDR may be able to help you out with.
