Where can I buy LE oil products?

Ok here's the deal I had a girl pull infront of me in july, and totalled my 95 lifted gasser August 1st I bought my truck completely stock with 94000 miles,

My family has been very close to the local dealer (not where i bought the truck (diesel)) but I have always wanted his (the owners) diesel trucks (personal ones that he drives daily and spends TONS on!!) so anywyas a few month ago the owner of the dealership had passed from an motorcycle accdent... now his wife is looking to sell his most recent truck to someone local that she knows will take care of the truck

The truck is a 97 black 12V 4x4 std cab long bed. he purchased the truck for around 9000 dollars with 60,000 miles It now has somewhere around 80-90k and has been gone over and over again. She has said that they have around $25,000. 00 invested ON TOP of the cost of the truck. And this is ligit! first off new doors (rust on bottom) new high performance cam (and others im not aware of) boss 9'2" V (every option available) newer oversized tires, air ride, x monitor, dual exhaust ATS!!! direct drive transmission (again i dont know the details of what else was done) rhino liner in bed, and bottom of beauty stripe, toolbox with aux fuel tanks built in!! the list goes ON and ON and ON and all records are there (being a dealer truck) and this truck SMOKES yet was not beat!!! he (the owner) planned on pulling the truck (WEIGHT SLED not a 5th wheel) so this truck is awesome and like new yet better.

My question is should I sell the 01 and buy this??? (she hasnt gotten a price but im guessing way less than what they have in it) Ive got the full gauges, Comp box, full diamondplate bed treatment, almost new meyer plow, excellent non smoking interrior and great paint!!!

I enjoy the interrior of the 01 but this 97 is a truck to be seen! AHHH i dont know!

Any imput is appreciated

Thanks guys

Hmmm... Why not have both? :-laf

Ok, maybe that is not an option. PERSONALLY, I would take my '96 anyday over my '01. I perfer the way it drives, and the fact that it has less electronic gadgetry.

In the end, it's your money... so do what makes you happy.

AH I would love to have both but looking to buy a house sometime soon and having 2 truck payment plus a house payment would be killer! haha AHHH id LOVE to have them both

What do you mean by 'direct drive transmission'? You don't mean that it has a single gear reverser instead of a transmission, right? Secondly, did you buy your '01 modified, or did you put the money in for the plow and performance stuff?

Just something to keep in mind, since you won't get all your money back from those mods that you've put into the '01. If you're wanting to go all out for performance and don't need the extended cab, then go for the '97. Personally, I'm planning to p-pump my '01. 5 rather than sell it and buy an older 12V. This is largely due to my never finding any good-condition 12V's, but also the fact that I'd have to convert the 12V to a six-speed and rear discs. It sounds like you found a good 12V, though, so as long as you won't lose your shirt selling the '01 and don't need the extended cab, get the '97! :)

When I talked to the dealer/owner he said it had direct drive, Im not 100% what he meant but with his bottomless pockets something has been done and done right!

These trucks are both the same std cab long bed 4x4. I bought mine completely stock no mods

What do ya think I can get outa my 01? its got 111051(pulled in the drive tonight) and all the mods would go with it other than the toolbox.

Whoops - thought I read that your 24V was a quad cab - not sure where I got that from LOL. If it is a reverser, that'd be great for pulling, but would make the truck useless onroad since you'd only have one forward gear.

Your best bet for selling yours would be to sell the plow separately on Ebay or something, I would think. Then you could get most of that money back. Consider taking the performance stuff off for a separate sale, as well. Otherwise, you'll likely only get about 1/3 of the money you put into the mods back. Hope that helps, and let us know what you decide! :)

get the 12v ian!! lots of cheap power available there. is it a auto or 5spd? you will lose the new interior of the 01 but its a whole lot easier to work on the 97. i would get the 12v but dont lose your ***** on the 01 thats for sure.
