Every pickup I owned during the past 24 years was a Dodge with a Cummins (1st - 3rd Gen). Several I ordered from the factory.
Even owned an 03 3500 QC 4WD SRW with HO and 6 speed (Altantic Blue/Silver). Perhaps I am an odd-ball, but I always end up back in a 1st gen Dodge.
When I am sitting in the cab I feel right at home and when I hit a bump in the road, I know I am driving a truck. I just love the simplicity and the looks of the 1st gen.
Granted if I was doing a long road trip it would be a lot more comfortable in a 2nd or later truck. Knowing what I know now, If I could go back in time, I would order a 93 W350 SRW LE with manual windows and a manual trans and would still have it.

Sell it. Then you can join the rest of us still kicking ourselves in the butt for dumping a great truck.

Well I was reeeeal close to completely redoing my '92 with having the cab extended and all. The bargain I got on my '04 made it a tough goodbye. I wish I was able to save it. It wound up getting totaled.

If there is a question THEN NO. When wanting to sell there is no doubt and you could not be rid of it fast enough. I have the same problem with the roadrunner, Now that I am 62 and have had that car for 43 years I still cannot let go although I know the time is coming.

I have been offered cash recently, a few times. I will not sell. Where ya gonna get a simple 3/4 truck averages 20mpg street, can haul 12K? So drivers window only rolls above 83 degrees, passenger side mirror no electric worky. Good rig, not pretty today, so?
Keep 'em. Or send to good home

I would say no. Unless you NEED the money for something life threatening, losing your house, etc, dont. Too many regret selling their older vehicles they love. Let me ask, why are you thinking of departing ways with it?

Well Steve, since this is in the first gen section, guess again !:D
Yup, there it is, first gen. Guess I should pay better attention. I wouldn't sell it unless you need the cash, its worth more than what you'd get on paper.

First off, too damn many vehicles, barely use either Dodge right now for what they were originally intended... being driven and making money with them . Heck, the past 7 years I've only put like 26k miles on the '03.. 10 years ago, it saw that in a month sometimes ! And, could use the cash to better up the race car and the street car . Was out dinking around this weekend... in between storms... and really like the '93, probably more so then the '03 !

Well that answered what I needed for the next comment. Dump the 03 if you just dont need two trucks and you will regret that move less than the other way. Nice Gen 1s especially with a good transmission are impossible to find. A decent 03 isnt as hard.
