By crossover box, are you meaning a square pipe instead of a "Y" pipe?

If so then yes, that is what I'm running. Here is the basic layout of my stacks. Stock turbo (about to leave me) to a 4" downpipe - 4" straight through muffler - 4" flexpipe - 4" elbow - short 4" pipe up through bed into bottom of 4" square crosspipe (mounted across front of flatbed - at each end of crosspipe a 4" to 5" coupler is welded to the top of crosspipe - 5" x 48" turnout stacks are clamped into the couplers. This is how stacks where built on some of the older trucks. The flat sides of the square tubing makes it easy to weld to. Probably not a lot cheaper, just depends on what materials you have available or can find at a discount. Just another option.

why don't you like your miters? I am thinking of stacking as well but I like the miters ONLY so I am curious.

not too many people run bullhaulers, and the ones i have seen look good... . ive had a thing for bullhaulers since i seen them on a pete. im sure i'll keep the miters around just incase i want to change things up again ;)

its pretty wild that within 15 minutes you can change the entire look of a truck by changing one thing.....

Am I the only person that thinks putting stacks on a pickup truck is lame? Some nice 6" chrome stacks on Peterbilt though... . :)

I think the only thing that keeps me from getting stacks is that I couldnt fill all the ricers with their windows down with smoke anymore. I know. . I know. . But its fun!! Oo.

kevin, did you get the pictures i e-mailed ya yesterday afternoon?? i think were all waiting impatiently for some pics..... just stack it already. LOL ;) :D

yep, got the pics, thanx a lot they helped me convince dad nothing was wrong with hacking into the support right up front. I hope i get home early enough to get them in this evening, may have to work till dark though, may still put them in. Waitin on the 4 inch to 3 inch adapter so i can hook them up underneath too.

whoo hoo, i finally got all my in bed stuff in, waiting on an adapter for 4 inch to 3 inch to hook up the flex to the factory exhaust pipe. will have pics soon, i promise.

Getting the y pipe hooked to main exhaust pipe tomorrow, then comes the washing of the truck ritual, then pics will soon follow. Hope to have them up soon. :D :D :D :D Oo. Oo. Oo.
